Comments: The 3rd Annual Disney Karaoke fundraiser in support of the VFW National Home for Children took place on Saturday, February 10th from 6-9p at the Naperville. I heard about the event through email via the American Legion, so I reached out to the event lead and they were more than happy to have us join in the fun. We were joined by fellow costuming group League of Enchantment, to take pictures with all the kids in attendance.
The event was fun. We walked around and took pictures with some of the kids. Most of the venue was setup with tables and chairs, so wasn’t a lot of room for us like we’re accustomed…however we did what we normally do. I believe in future years, we may be able to be better incorporated into the event and make a bigger splash.
The event raised over $5000, all of which was donated to the VFW National Home for Children in Eaton Rapids, Michigan
