As the week went on, the bride kept cutting little Star Wars things from the wedding, including the entrance to the reception they were going to use: The Imperial March. That morning, the groom commented that he was bummed here wasn't enough Star Wars in the wedding. This is where we came in. There is a tradition in the family, where the bride is 'kidnapped' from her husband. So, just after the first dance, we entered and took her under arrest. The groom was handed a lightsaber by someone in the wedding, and he fought to get her back. This was after he jumped for joy to see us enter, and as she called for his help, he exclaimed "Yuo've obviously made the Stormtroopers mad, I'm not getting in their way."
Afterward, we posed for many pictures, and joined the happy couple and family on the dance floor for the ChaCha shuffle. We were invited to stick around after, so we did. Countless guests came up to thank us, including an 80 year old woman who lost her husband recently and wasn't going to come from out of town. She did, and told us we made her trip worth it. They were so happy, and it felt great to make their special day even more special.
