Event Summary: The Garrison was asked by the Will B. foundation to make an appearance at the Great Strides Walk for Cystic Fibrosis Event in ElkGrove Village. The Great Strides Walk is a 5k run/walk through Busse Woods with a Pre-Ceremony kick off and post run/walk picnic after.
We had a great turn out for this troop, Lord Vader made his appearance flanked by two Stormtroopers, a Sandtrooper, and one of his finest Special Operations TX in the business. We even had a Rebel Pilot along with his crew, sneaking in and out of the troop trying to photobomb many of the pictures we all were apart of.
After making the rounds, it was then time so send to runners and walkers off on their way. We split the squad, and took up residence on both sides of the arch, and gave all the participants a proper Empire send off.
