And of course, a HUGE THANK YOU to John and Sarah Flanagan at Learning Express for allowing us to have our Donation Station at their store again this year, and for their generous donation to the cause!! They are wonderful people, as are their employees, and I encourage everyone to check out their fantastic stores! We may have another event later this year at their Geneva location.
Another very successful event! We collected $274.00 in just 2 hours!! Fantastic! Hopefully we’ll have a few more donations come in as a result of some of the MSABC brochures that were taken from our table.
Between FaceBook, the Learning Express website and newsletter and the blurb that John put in the local paper, we ended up with quite the crowd! And this year we had 7 costumed participants! It was great, and so much fun! We even sported our new customized pink ribbons supplied by Phyllis and a few pink feather boas for a very bold look. LOL! We were a good lookin’ group, if I may say so myself.
Note to self… need to dye the pink jumpsuit a darker pink! It looks white in most of the pics! LOL!
Anyway, it was a great time, as always! THANKS EVERYONE!!!!
