The day started early once our gear was on it was time to party. Strait out of the gate the store was packed. Darryl and R2-S5 took up post outside in front of the store to draw in passers by. Later Kate and myself joined him outside with signs. The public loved the display we put on (including a little improve for a shy young child between myself and R2
) . Unfortunatly we were asked to go inside by Loves Park Police due to an agressive loose dog. So we took the fun inside for more photo ops. The staff of TISY loved having us around esspecially R2 who got quite a lot of attention from the parents as well as the kids. The staff enjoyed us so much that we have been invited back next year.I would like to thank Darryl for coming down for this as well as sparking my interest in possibly starting an astromech of my own (or at least a mousedroid). I would also like to thank Kate who is now more understanding of us boys and girls in white.
