Got my Israeli combat boots in the mail today. Also spent the day cutting out parts from sintra. Got just about everything done, except for the buttons for the gauntlets and the rear of the belt. Tomorrow will be sanding and maybe shaping!

I'd just like to say that it is so cute that you and JJ are both working on your Mandos together. Just adorable, HP. ;)

Can't let Jodo be the only one playing with his hair for costumes. Still would have to shave and buzz the sides, but I think it's passable.

It's not a coincidence. It's Palpatine-esque plotting to get her to paint my armor so I don't have to.

Things are starting to shape up.....

Hopefully I will have some time over the weekend to sand the edges of everything and then glue the parts together for the gauntlets and the holsters.

My "professional live in painter has begun to paint everything. Gauntlets and thigh/holsters are all glued together and reinforced with fiberglass.

As of today, I'm the seamstress. Spent the day lining up the pieces and sewing all the velcro onto the vest and jumpsuit. Also finished up the helmet.

Left to do:

-Finish painting gauntlets, jetpack and thighs.
-Finish attaching fabric to the back of the boots.
-Finish belt.
-Finish Darksaber.
-Wear and try not to destroy it.

Hopefully wrapped up for the 7th!

Thanks. Yeah I'm not a fan of the jet pack either. If you actually look at a Death Watch jet pack, its completely different. The Jango was the closest to the death watch without having to completely build one from scratch. There is a person on the MandoMercs site that has built a screen accurate jet pack from scratch. But of course, when you have a vac-form machine at your disposal, almost anything is possible. After CV, I'm sure there will be adjustments made to Rob's Vizsla.
