Tailoring in the NW burbs

I have all the parts for my ROTJ-Royal Guard costume but need to have it hemmed and sized correctly. I'm in Palatine and looking for an experienced tailor. I have googled tailors in my area and there are several, but was hoping someone has used one in the NW burbs that has experience with costumes. I'm sure any tailor should be able to do the work, but would prefer someone who won't look at my red velvet robes and think I'm a crazy person.
Any recommendations?
