I am happy to announce that Rich Markle (Dad Vader) will be transfering to MWG. Rich has been a member of Bloodfin since 2004 and has organized at least 4 events in the northwest corner of Indiana. Over the past 2 years Rich has trooped with MWG several times (over 10 events this year). Rich lives about 30 miles south of Chicago and has been a welcomed addition to their events. With the charter changes that was ratified this year it is now possible for Rich to transfer.
Per the charter:
Quote:Member affiliation with this unit is normally based upon geographical boundaries and the member's primary residence. A member can request to be placed in another Garrison if they feel closer to that Garrison and it is more feasible to regularly attend events with that Garrison. If approved by the CO of the Garrison the member lives in as well as the adopting Garrison's CO, the member may switch affiliations.
Rich will continue to setup events in the northwest corner of Indiana under the MWG and Bloodfin name. Rich will be contacting the Bloodfin EC when an event is setup and will still be posting the events in the "Northern Events" section of the Bloodfin Forums.

Also --- there may be an other potential Northern INdiana event brewing in the near future. Rich will be sure to let the Bloodfins know so they can come out & have fun too ---- plus the location is pretty close to the Michigan boarder, so maybe some of the Western Michigan folks can come down for it too. It would be on the Southern shore of Lake Michigan.
As soon as we get the confirmation from the contact, we'll let every one know.
